Headstart
Our Goals
To Provide Aboriginal pre-schoolers with a "Head Start," prior to entering the regular school system.
To encourage and empower parents to be the prime educators in their child's life long learning process.
Who may attend:
- Aboriginal (First Nations, Métis & Inuit) children ages 3 or 4 years old.
- Parents must have completed registration and orientation with a staff member
Program Operations
This program is funded by Health Canada and is provided at no cost to the children and their families.
Hours:
The program operates Monday to Thursday. There are two sessions of programs to choose from - Morning (9:00 to 11:15 AM) or Afternoon (12:30 to 3:00 PM)
Transportation:
Children are transported to and from the program.
Our focus is:
